It has been officially announced that a WWE main roster pay-per-view will go head-to-head with AEW All Out as WWE Wrestlepalooza will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday, September 20. The WWE show is scheduled to get underway at 7 pm ET, one hour before AEW All Out.
There was curiosity around how WWE was able to name the September 20 event Wrestlepalooza as the trademark with the United States Patent & Trademark office for the term is owned by Minnesota independent promotion F1rst Wrestling. The promotion owned by Arik Cannon has held 25 Wrestlepalooza events since 2013, including as recently as June 2025.
It appears WWE and F1rst Wrestling reached a deal for the trademark, with BodySlam reporting that F1rst Wrestling talent and staff were told not to mention Wrestlepalooza as of August 11.
Wrestlepalooza was previously the name of an Extreme Championship Wrestling event held from 1995 until 2000.
Headline matches planned for WWE Wrestlepalooza are John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
