Zilla Fatu holding the NXT Title

Zilla Fatu could soon make his way to the WWE main roster.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has reported the internal expectation within WWE is Zilla Fatu will be on the main roster "before long" and the feeling is putting Fatu with his cousins so early into his WWE run will "set the stage for long-term success." Zilla, of course, is a part of the Anoa'i family that includes the likes of Roman Reigns, The Usos, Jacob Fatu, and Solo Sikoa, among others, currently performing on the main roster.

Zilla Fatu made his WWE debut on the August 11 edition of NXT and he is currently involved in the NXT Title picture. As part of the promotion for NXT Heatwave, Fatu was featured in a vignette on Monday Night Raw, with WrestleVotes noting the clip was designed to also be a soft introduction of Fatu to WWE fans who may not be familiar with him, with the plan being to establish his family connection to The Bloodline ahead of him moving to Monday Night Raw or Friday Night SmackDown.

The son of Umaga, Zilla Fatu started his pro wrestling career in 2022 just months after he was released from prison, having spent six years behind bars for aggravated robbery. Fatu became a featured wrestler on the indies and worked one TNA match at the Slammiversary 2025 pre-show prior to making his way to WWE.
