Cathy Kelley may soon have an expanded role within WWE.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has reported that WWE have been impressed with Cathy Kelley and the company wants to find more for her to do outside of her current backstage correspondent role on WWE programming. One option under consideration is for Kelley to be the focal point of upcoming social media campaigns and for her to have a significant role with Club WWE. WWE launched the membership scheme earlier this year.

Cathy Kelley is currently in her second run with WWE, having returned to the company in October 2022 after an initial stint as an on-screen host on the WWE Network and as a backstage interviewer in NXT from 2016 to 2020. Kelley has been utilised as a backstage correspondent once again since her comeback, switching between Friday Night SmackDown and Monday Night Raw on multiple occasions in recent years.

It was noted in April 2025 that Kelley had been a part of in-ring training and promo classes at the WWE Performance Center ahead of transitioning to a managerial role on WWE TV, but Kelley has ultimately not become an on-screen manager.
