Janel Grant's bill of discovery against Dr. Carlon Colker and Peak Wellness was approved on Monday, July 7 by Judge Colleen Zingaro of the Connecticut Superior Court. Zingaro has ordered both the plaintiff and the defendants to submit scheduling order proposals.

Grant filed a bill of discovery with the Superior Court of Connecticut in July 2024, seeking medical records in relation to her sex trafficking lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE, with Grant alleging that the medical records she had received from Colker and Peak Wellness were incomplete and inaccurate. Colker filed a motion to dismiss Grant's bill of discovery on August 29, 2024, which Grant later opposed.

In addition to allegedly receiving incomplete and inaccurate medical records, Janel Grant has accused Carlon Colker and Peak Wellness of instructing her to take pills and undergo treatments that were not disclosed to her when she received care at the clinic between November 2019 and April 15, 2022. Colker filed a defamation lawsuit against Grant's attorney Ann Callis in May 2025.

Janel Grant's lawsuit against WWE and Vince McMahon remains ongoing. John Laurinaitis was previously a defendant, but he was dropped from the lawsuit after agreeing to cooperate with Janel Grant.

An evidence request was recently submitted by Janel Grant for a broad range of internal WWE and McMahon communications, including board materials, NDA drafts, and documents reviewed by federal investigators, as she looks to challenge the enforceability of the arbitration clause in the nondisclosure agreement she and Vince McMahon signed in January 2022.

Grant has long alleged that the arbitration clause is unenforceable due to being under duress when she signed the NDA. WWE and Vince McMahon have repeatedly filed motions for the lawsuit to be moved to arbitration, and the defendants opposed Grant's evidence request earlier this month.
