A former WWE talent has quietly been under contract with All Elite Wrestling for several months.

Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp has reported that Tehuti Miles - who performed in WWE as Ashante "Thee" Adonis - is signed to AEW and has been since the first week of September 2025. Why exactly AEW signed Miles then didn't book him on TV for several months is unknown, but Miles was in action at Sunday's ROH TV tapings as he went one-on-one with Serpentico.

Fightful noted there was some surprise that AEW signed Miles without him working any independent wrestling dates, especially as All Elite Wrestling have been more measured about which former WWE wrestlers they sign shortly after their exits.

Tehuti Miles departed WWE in August 2025 after his contract expired, which ended his second run with the company. Miles first wrestled for WWE from 2019 until his release in 2021. He returned in 2022 and was featured across the main roster and then NXT, with his final WWE match being a loss to Ricky Saints on the June 24, 2025 episode of NXT.

The expectation was Miles would receive interest from TNA following his WWE departure due to his links to fellow former Hit Row stablemate AJ Francis, Fightful reported, but the outlet did not hear if there were ever talks between the two sides.
