Bronson Reed was originally planned to play a big part in the men's Elimination Chamber match at the namesake pay-per-view on Saturday, February 28.
Reed was originally booked to advance to the Elimination Chamber courtesy of a Triple Threat win against Jey Uso and the Original El Grande Americano on the February 23 episode of Monday Night Raw. Reed suffered a torn biceps while breaking up a pin attempt in the Triple Threat, though, and WWE pivoted to Jey Uso winning the match. Uso was then taken out on SmackDown and Reed's Vision stablemate Logan Paul was added to the Elimination Chamber instead.
Logan Paul had a strong showing in the Elimination Chamber match, eliminating Trick Williams, Je'Von Evans, and LA Knight. According to Cory Hays of BodySlam, it was originally going to be Bronson Reed who would have recorded those three eliminations had he not suffered the injury on Raw. WWE simply maintained Bronson's original plans and moved them to Logan Paul.
Logan Paul was ultimately eliminated by Cody Rhodes after he received a stomp from the masked man, who was revealed to be Seth Rollins making his return at Elimination Chamber.
Bronson Reed has undergone surgery to repair his biceps tear. He will be sidelined beyond WrestleMania 42 at the very least.
