The date for WrestleMania is often revealed at least one year ahead of the show but that has not been the case with 2027's WrestleMania 43 as WWE have yet to announce when their biggest event of the year will be taking place.
According to Brandon Thurston on a recent edition of POST Wrestling's Pollock & Thurston, however, the expectation is WrestleMania 43 will be held on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11, 2027.
"We expect that WrestleMania is going to be tentatively 10th and 11th April. Plans can change, especially in this case, plans can change. For whatever reason, they're holding on to announcing that," Brandon Thurston said.
It was announced in September 2025 that WrestleMania 43 would be taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H making the announcement alongside Saudi Arabia General Entertainment Authority Chairman Turki Alalshikh, a man who allegedly has a prison wing named after his nickname. The belief is WWE will pocket over $100 million from holding WrestleMania 43 in the Middle East.
As of late September, WWE are still moving ahead with plans to hold WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia despite the ongoing war between the United States and Iran. The United States Department of State recently issued an updated travel advisory for US citizens to reconsider travel to Saudi Arabia due to "risk of Iranian drone and missile targeting of American interests, armed conflict, terrorism, exit bans, and local laws regarding social media activity. Some areas have increased risk."
Recent reports had noted that WWE had yet to announce a date for WrestleMania 43 because of the event being in conjunction with Saudi Arabia.
2027 will be the first time that WWE haven't held WrestleMania in North America. The expectation from some WWE officials is that All Elite Wrestling will have a significant presence in the United States over WrestleMania 43 weekend, which was a factor in WWE announcing WrestleMania watch parties across the US.
