The 2026 men's Royal Rumble match featured several wrestlers who didn't declare for the bout ahead of time, including the likes of Mr. Iguana, La Parka, and the original El Grande Americano, but there was no room in the Rumble for multiple talents who actually travelled to Saudi Arabia.
Fightful Select has reported that WWE discussed booking Kit Wilson in the Rumble match, but they ultimately passed on him. Wilson was flown to Saudi Arabia and wasn't even utilised on SmackDown despite being one of the more popular talents on the blue brand in 2026 since the introduction of his anti-toxic gimmick.
Wilson addressed his absence from the Royal Rumble on TikTok, saying: "Joke's on you. Joke's on you if you thought I was going to be in that Royal Rumble with those toxic men out there."
He then called Oba Femi, Bron Breakker, Solo Sikoa, Rusev, Matt Cardona, Damian Priest, Trick Williams, Royce Keys, Austin Theory, LA Knight, Brock Lesnar, The Miz, Jacob Fatu, Randy Orton, and Gunther toxic.
Another talent flown to Saudi Arabia who wasn't used in the Royal Rumble was Aleister Black. The former NXT Champion was originally planned for the Rumble, but WWE scrapped those plans and opted to bring Black back to TV at a later date.
