The reason for Chris Jericho still being listed as a member of All Elite Wrestling on the company's roster page is a very simple one.
There has been huge speculation about Chris Jericho's future over the past several months, with the belief being that Jericho's AEW deal would expire at the end of 2025. It was even announced when Jericho re-signed with AEW in October of 2022 that his deal would expire at the end of 2025.
Jericho remains on the AEW roster page, however, situated between Cash Wheeler and Christian Cage. According to Fightful Select, Jericho is actually still under contract with AEW. Why exactly his deal didn't expire at the end of 2025 is unknown.
This would ultimately explain why Jericho has not appeared on WWE programming, as he remains signed to AEW. Fightful noted that there is interest in Jericho from within WWE should he become a free agent.
Chris Jericho is set to be busy in the near future, though, as Fozzy are due to begin their tour of the United Kingdom on February 6 in Brighton. The rock band are due to play 13 shows before finishing up on February 21 in Wolverhampton.
Chris Jericho has been signed to AEW since 2019 and he was the inaugural AEW World Champion. Prior to his AEW run, Jericho was a part of WWE across multiple runs between 1999 and 2018.
