Tony Khan has had a busy 2026 thus far, signing a whole host of names to the promotion on the back of exits from names such as Powerhouse Hobbs. The likes of Persephone, Hechicero, and Mascara Dorada have agreed dual contracts between AEW and CMLL, former TNA wrestlers Jake Doyle and The Rascalz have made the jump to AEW, along with other names such as Tatevik being reported. Two more new signings have now been revealed.

Reigning AEW World Champion MJF defended his gold outside of AEW, becoming the first major champion since Ric Flair to defend a major world title in an independent promotion and away from national programming, as he put the title on the line against Alec Price in Limitless Wrestling.

In the aftermath of the match, MJF took to the mic to invite both Alec Price and Jordan Oliver to AEW, making them officially All Elite. MJF explained that “someone else” in AEW was a big fan of both, sending MJF over to give them a test and watch them in action, before shaking their hands and asking them if they were ready for AEW.
