Report: AEW Planning To Offer Dralistico A New Contract

Dralistico's contract with All Elite Wrestling is due to expire before the end of the year but AEW are reportedly planning to offer the luchador a new deal.

That is according to Dave Meltzer, who also reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that people close to the luchador have claimed Dralistico's AI-generated image posted to social media of him behind bars was because of a current visa issue as opposed to wanting to leave AEW.

"From the AEW standpoint, they are going to make him an offer. I was told from people close to him that the thing with the bars and everything, that's because of the visa issue. It's not because he can't wait to leave like Fenix. His contract is up soon," Meltzer said.

Reports have noted that Dralistico's contract is set to expire in December. Dralistico made his AEW debut in December 2022 and he signed with the promotion in October 2023, although he has only had 51 matches across AEW and Ring of Honor.

Dralistico has been absent from AEW TV since the former Mistico II and his La Faccion Ingobernable stablemates RUSH and Sammy Guevara unsuccessfully challenged The Conglomeration for the AEW World Trios Championships on the June 6 edition of Collision.

Dralistico's real-life brother RUSH is also currently off AEW TV due to a visa issue, but the former ROH World Champion has noted he is happy as part of All Elite Wrestling.
