Only days after the promotion internally addressed production botches during the Thursday Night IMPACT premiere on AMC, TNA Wrestling were struck by another production botch that revealed major spoilers for the Feast or Fired match and No Surrender.
In addition to airing on AMC, Thursday Night IMPACT also airs live on the TNA+ streaming service. Following a live edition of IMPACT from the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, New Mexico, TNA taped future episodes on Thursday night, but a botch meant the TNA+ stream of the live IMPACT was never taken off the air. While the taping could not be seen, audio for the go-home episode of IMPACT before No Surrender from TNA's commentary team Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt could be heard on the stream, which ultimately included spoilers.
Within the audio, Hannifan confirmed Eddie Edwards grabbed the briefcase for a future TNA World Title match in Feast or Fired on January 22. A headline match at No Surrender on February 13 was also confirmed as Hannifan noted Leon Slater would team with Mike Santana against Nic Nemeth and Eddie Edwards at the TNA+ special, with it even being suggested by Matthew Rehwoldt that Slater could soon activate Option C to challenge for the TNA World Title.
"At a brand new venue in Nashville, Tennessee, the state-of-the-art Pinnacle, it's going to be a tag team matchup with Mike Santana and the X-Division Champion Leon Slater up against the Call Your Shot Gauntlet winner Nic Nemeth and the Feast or Fired TNA World Championship match holder Eddie Edwards," Hannifan said.
"Let's not forget, it has already been floated out there by Daria Rae that perhaps Leon Slater should invoke Option C, so every man in that matchup tomorrow night at No Surrender has an incentive to see Mike Santana put down," Rehwoldt added.
TNA Wrestling have a long history of production botches since the promotion was founded in 2002. This included during the IMPACT on AMC premiere when the company decided to show content creators standing in front of row upon row of empty seats, while the live broadcast also suffered from audio glitches.
