AJ Lee's WWE WrestleMania 42 Plans Revealed

AJ Lee is set to perform at WWE WrestleMania for the first time in 11 years when she steps inside the squared circle at WrestleMania 42, and WWE's plans for the former Divas Champion have been revealed.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has reported that AJ Lee vs. Becky Lynch is considered one of the more "locked in" matches for WrestleMania 42. Changes have been made to the WrestleMania 42 card in recent weeks - notably Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns being pulled from the event - but Lee vs. Lynch has been planned for some time.

WrestleMania 42 will emanate from Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19.

AJ Lee made her return to WWE on a part-time deal in September of 2025 and she has been in a feud with Becky Lynch ever since. Lee and husband CM Punk defeated the husband-and-wife duo of Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch at Wrestlepalooza.

Lee later returned to cost Lynch the Women's Intercontinental Title, although Lynch has since regained the belt from Maxxine Dupri, and Lee made Becky tap out to the Black Widow to win the women's WarGames match at Survivor Series.
