TNA Wrestling are expected to continue exploring cross-over opportunities with AMC after recent The Walking Dead nod.

During the recent Righteous Deletion cinematic match between The Hardys and The Righteous, a barbed wire bat was used, with it confirmed by Fightful Select that it was an official The Walking Dead Lucille the bat replica with it noted that further crossovers between TNA and other AMC properties are expected headed forward.

TNA signed a multi-year deal with AMC in late 2025, with IMPACT broadcast on the network from January 2026. Exact figures for how much AMC are paying TNA have not been made public, but estimates are between $7million-$10million based on reports from mid-2025 when TNA were actively exploring broadcast options.

Despite the deal, TNA are believed to be operating at a loss, with a spate of talent releases and backstage firings reportedly stemming from a less-than-ideal financial situation, it is unknown if TNA received a financial incentive from AMC for the Walking Dead tie-in or if potential future tie-ins will come with a cash incentive.

TV and movie tie-ins are nothing new in the world of wrestling, with the likes of WWE, AEW, and even WCW in years past having featured promotional cross over opportunities with outside franchises such as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Bride of Chuckie amongst others.
