Dragon Lee’s role in WWE has expanded greatly within 2026, becoming a defined part of the midcard division after years of up and down booking, thanks in part to WWE’s acquisition of AAA over the last two years. When looking ahead to the future, there is a chance that Lee may not be in WWE for much longer.

According to a report from Bryan Alvarez on F4WOnline, Dragon Lee is one of at least four Latin America talents across both AEW and WWE to have an expiring deal between the timeframe of October and February - one of those including his brother, Dralistico, whose AEW contract is set to expire soon too.

In an interesting development to this story, Alvarez also revealed that Lee & Dralistico have trademarked the name “Hermanos Lee”, which is the team name they used when wrestling alongside one another in the past. The suggestion is that this could mean Lee & Dralistico are intending to leave their respective promotions and go at it alone, though this is purely speculation. Lee has remained a regular part of WWE programming in recent months, though Dralistico has only wrestled four times on AEW TV in 2026. There was reportedly a push last year for WWE to secure Lee to a new deal, though nothing has emerged about anything being signed.
