Mistico officially became All Elite on Sunday night as it was announced during the Revolution pay-per-view that the top luchador has signed a contract with AEW. The announcement was made after Mistico, Kevin Knight, and "Speedball" Mike Bailey defeated Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, and Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family to win the AEW World Trios Championships.

It has since been confirmed that Mistico is now signed to a dual contract with All Elite Wrestling and CMLL, where he is the top star for the Lucha Libre promotion. AEW CEO Tony Khan noted at the post-Revolution media scrum that Mistico will be splitting his time between AEW and CMLL.

"He will be splitting time. CMLL is an amazing partnership for AEW. What a sign of trust between the two promotions to have one of the greatest wrestlers of all time as a dual signee. We'll be working with Salvador, now that he's a champion in AEW, I'll work with Salvador very closely to make sure we see Mistico in both CMLL and AEW as much as possible," Tony Khan said.

Mistico has wrestled several matches in All Elite Wrestling since the beginning of the AEW-CMLL working relationship in October 2023. One of the top programmes in CMLL in 2025 also saw Mistico feud with MJF over the CMLL Light Heavyweight Championship, with the former Sin Cara defeating Maxwell Jacob Friedman at the CMLL 92nd Anniversary show.

Mistico is the latest CMLL wrestler to sign a dual contract with AEW, following on from Hechicero in the summer of 2025, and Persephone & Mascara Dorada in January 2026.
