Suggestions that WWE could move WrestleMania 43 from Saudi Arabia to Las Vegas’ Sphere are reportedly wide of the mark.

With escalating conflicts between Iran backed Houthis and Saudi Arabia overshadowing the upcoming Crown Jewel event in Riyadh, many have wondered if WWE could be making contingency plans for WrestleMania XLIII, with the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’ set for Riyadh in 2027. Whilst reports in early 2026 stated that WWE were looking at contingency options, plans to run the Vegas Sphere are seemingly not on their agenda.

A report from Fightful states there is ‘no indication’ that WrestleMania could be headed for the Sphere. Whilst no official dates have been set for Mania 43, it’s believed that WWE are eyeing April 10 and 11, with the Sphere already set to host John Mayer on those dates. The Sphere is also off the table for April 2-4, with Oprah Winfrey set to be using the venue.

Even if WrestleMania has to move from Riyadh, it’d take a lot for WWE to move the event out of Saudi Arabia altogether, with the sports entertainment behemoth reportedly set to pocket a cool $150million from Saudi Arabia just for hosting the event on their shores.
