Kyle Fletcher Wants To See Ilja Dragunov Come To AEW

Many fans want to see Ilja Dragunov make his way to All Elite Wrestling, and it seems fellow pro-wrestlers do too, with Kyle Fletcher stating he wants to see Dragunov become ‘All Elite’.

Dragunov exited WWE in August 2026 after the expiration of his deal, and for many, Dragunov to AEW is a no-brainer. When asked about dream opponents by Daily Star prior to AEW All In 2026, Fletcher noted how Dragunov is the top of everyone’s list right now:

“The one on the top of everyone’s list at the moment is Ilja (Dragunov). He’s possibly a free agent, as we’ve all heard. He’s someone that I wrestled in PROGRESS over here in the UK before. So for me personally and selfishly, I would very much love to see him in AEW. I think that would be awesome, and I look forward to seeing what a 2026 match with Ilja Dragunov looks like. I think that would be very exciting,” said Fletcher.

Fletcher and Dragunov have shared a ring on six occasions, wrestling in wXw in 2019, and in PROGRESS in 2019 and 2020. The two have thus far only wrestled one singles match against each other, and it remains to be seen if there are more to come.
