Bayley Makes WWE Return On Raw

Bayley has returned to WWE, with the multi-time women’s champion appearing on the September 7 edition of Raw after several weeks away.

During a Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match between Sol Ruca, Maxxine Dupri, and Lyra Valkyria, Valkyria looked to have things won with a Nightwing, however referee Jessika Carr was pulled during the count by a returning Bayley, allowing Ruca to hit a Sol Snatcher and claim the win. Post-match, Bayley assaulted her former ally, but Valkyria escaped before being put through a table.

This marked Bayley’s first televised WWE appearance since Saturday Night’s Main Event in July, when Valkyria wrote the ‘Role Model’ off TV. With reports suggesting that Bayley’s WWE deal was set to expire, many assumed the SNME angle was to write Bayley off permanently, with some expecting a change of scenery for the WWE veteran.

Whilst this return may quieten chatter about Bayley exiting WWE, there has been no confirmation as of writing that Bayley and WWE have agreed terms on a new deal. However, it would be unusual for WWE to bring a talent back, and in such a strong manner, if they were definitely looking to exit the organisation. Indeed, reports in the past week suggested the two sides had agreed to terms on a new deal, but again, nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
