Hulk Hogan has a history of a great many things. We’ll leave it right there shall we. No, no, Hulk Hogan has often made some pretty outlandish claims over the years that have been proven wrong or at the very least believed to be fictional, and that has never ceased as the years have gone on.
In 2025 alone, Hulk Hogan has had claims about George Foreman Grills debunked, made the claim that he originated WWE entrance music, claimed that he expected to be booed on Monday Night RAW’s Netflix Premiere, and has had WWE talent allegedly believe him to not be genuine. His latest wild comments are ones he’s actually echoed in the past, despite many pointing out that they are simply not true.
Speaking with TMZ, Hulk Hogan repeated wrongful remarks about being the first person to wrestle Brock Lesnar after he left the UFC.
“I’ve been in the ring with some really crazy wrestlers. Like, I got Brock Lesnar right after he left the UFC, I got in first."
Lesnar and Hogan only ever wrestled once, and this came in 2002, six years before Lesnar’s debut fight in the UFC. Lesnar would notably leave the UFC in 2011, at which time Hogan was in TNA. Hogan would actually only wrestle three matches after Lesnar’s UFC exit, all of which coming in TNA.
It was revealed over the last week that Hogan was embarking on a new project alongside Eric Bischoff - kicking off Real American Freestyle.
