We are little over a month away from WWE SummerSlam 2026, and two huge matches have been newly announced for the two-night event in Minnesota in August 1 and 2.

The recent Night of Champions PLE saw Oba Femi win the King of the Ring tournament, and with it a world title shot at SummerSlam. As Oba was set to speak on his victory and his decision on the June 29 edition of Raw, Brock Lesnar returned and hit ‘The Ruler’ with an F5. Femi recovered and threw out a challenge to Brock for SummerSlam, with ‘The Beast’ agreeing one one condition; the match would take place under Hell in a Cell rules.

Later on Raw, acting Raw GM Adam Pierce asked Oba if he was sure he wouldn’t to forego his title opportunity at SumemrSlam, with Oba noting the title would be waiting for him when he decides to take it. Brock and Oba have clashed twice before, and are tied at one win apiece.

As for the World Title picture, as champion Roman Reigns was set to address the fans on Raw, he too was interrupted, but this time by long-time adversary Seth Rollins. Rollins brought up the storied history between the two, noting that Reigns was currently in possession of what Rollins deemed to be his title. Whilst Reigns disagreed initially with Rollins’ claims to a title match, he soon acquiesced, and the two will meet at SummerSlam.

Confirmed matches for WWE SummerSlam - August 1 & August 2 2026:

  • Roman Reigns (c) vs. Seth Rollins - World Heavyweight Championship
  • Liv Morgan (c) vs. IYO SKY - Women’s World Championship
  • Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi - Hell in a Cell
