Corporate Kane Revealed To Be One Of Kane's Favourite WWE Characters

Kane had a legendary run during his time in WWE, and of all the different takes on the character, Glen Jacobs has admitted he loved portraying Corporate Kane.

Jacobs’ admission may come as a surprise to many long-time fans, with Corporate Kane being ‘divisive’ amongst wrestling fans, to put it kindly. But yes, Corporate Kane was a favourite persona of Jacobs, as he told WWE’s official YouTube channel:

“Corporate Kane was actually one of my favourite characters, and people may be surprised to hear that. I think it showed everybody that I have some range. It just wasn’t always about being the silent dark, a behemoth. I really did enjoy the Corporate Kane era,” noted Jacobs.

For many, the initial Kane run from his 1997 debut stands as the prime version of the character, with the ‘Big Red Machine’ steamrolling through the company after his shocking debut furing the inaugural Hell in a Cell match between Shawn Michaels and Kane’s kayfabe brother The Undertaker at Badd Blood In Your House 1997.

During his 20-year plus run in WWE, Kane stands as the eighth Triple Crown Champion, and third Grand Slam Champion, having held the WWE, World Heavyweight, and ECW World Championships, amongst practically every other accolade available.
