Gurv Sihra Provides Update After Suffering Collapsed Lung

Gurv Sihra - fka Sunil Singh - has spoken after suffering a collapsed lung at an independent wrestling event.

ihra suffered a collapsed lung at a Pure Power Wrestling event in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, on September 19, with Sihra initially stating he was ‘lucky to be alive’. In an update posted to X/Twitter on September 26, Sihra spoke about his ongoing recovery:

“Back at the hockey rink today with some positive news: I am not 100% yet, however, my trauma doctor said, X-rays show I’m on the right path to recovery & my collapsed lung is healing. 🙏🏽

“I have a few more tests to complete and until then, Hockey dad life in full mode 🏒🇨🇦💪🏾”

Sihra is best known for his run in WWE as Sunil Singh, where he wrestled as one half of The Bollywood Boyz alongside brother Harv Sihra - fka Samir Singh. The Sihra brothers wrestled for WWE from 2016 until 2021, memorably acting as back-up to WWE Champion Jinder Mahal.

Since their WWE exit, The Bollywood Boyz have been mainstays on the North American independent circuit, mainly wrestling in their native Canada.
