Malakai Black Reverts To Tommy End Moniker At PROGRESS Event

Malakai Black has reverted back to his Tommy End persona, bidding goodbye to Black after losing the PROGRESS Championship.

Black returned to PROGRESS in early September, having made his name on the UK independent scene in the 2000s/2010s as part of the PROGRESS roster. Black wasted no time, winning the PROGRESS Men’s Championship at The Odyssey Night Three, before losing it back to former champ Cara Noir at PROGRESS Chapter 198 in London on September 27. After defeat to Noir, Black took the mic to state he isn’t going anywhere, and that he will once more go by Tommy End:

“You guys have made your preference felt, I’m Tommy End and I’m not going anywhere,” said End.

End briefly returned to the moniker after his first release from WWE in 2021, but quickly took the name Malakai Black upon signing with All Elite Wrestling that year. Upon his exit from AEW and return to WWE in 2025 he once again went by Aleister Black, although this second run in the promotion was short lived, with Black calling the run a ‘dud’.
