Kurt Angle Shelves Planned UK Appearances Due To Medical Issues

Scheduled appearances by Kurt Angle on the UK indie scene have been shelved, with the WWE Hall of Famer unable to travel due to medical reasons.

The multi-time world champions was set to appear for the National Wrestling League on September 27 in Manchester, and was set for a pair of events with Inside the Ropes in London and Glasgow on September 28 and 29 - the latter have been rescheduled to February 1 & 2 2027.

National Wrestling League posted the following statement on X/Twitter, complete with a video explanation from Angle:



“Regrettably, we have been informed that Kurt Angle has not been medically cleared for travel to the UK this weekend and will therefore be unable to attend our event this Sunday in Manchester.

“Kurt is incredibly upset that he is unable to join us and apologises profusely to the fans who were looking forward to meeting him this weekend.”

Inside the Ropes posted a similar statement, including confirmation of the rescheduled dates.
