Sami Callihan is gone from TNA Wrestling, with the 38-year-old announcing that he and the promotion have parted ways.
"Thought I was getting called today to be offered a position in creative… nope. I've parted ways with TNA. Oh well… onward to the next adventure. Check out my company @PWRevolver," Callihan wrote on X/Twitter.
Sami Callihan first signed with TNA in 2017 as a pro wrestler and he was one of the promotion's top stars during his first run with the company until 2023, during which he had one reign with the TNA World Championship. Callihan returned to TNA in April 2024 but retired as a wrestler at August 2025's TNA Emergence event after losing a Baltimore Street Fight to Mike Santana.
Callihan continued to work for TNA behind the scenes as a backstage producer, and Fightful Select has reported the former OVE leader was a part of the resurgence in TNA merchandise, designing and producing the majority of TNA's merch over the past year.
A number of TNA wrestlers had pushed for months for Callihan to be added to the TNA creative team, but it ultimately didn't happen. One member of TNA's creative team in Tommy Dreamer also parted ways with TNA on Wednesday, with Hunter "Delirious" Johnson set to head up creative. Road Dogg has also been discussed within TNA as a possible replacement for Dreamer.
TNA publicly acknowledged Dreamer's exit, wishing him well in his future endeavours. The promotion did not do the same for Callihan.
