WWE WrestleMania 42 Main Events For Each Night Officially Revealed

The main events for each night of WWE WrestleMania 42 have been officially revealed.

There has not been an official announcement from WWE, but the ticket section of WWE.com has officially confirmed that Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton for the Undisputed WWE Title will be the main event of night one of WrestleMania 42. The main event of WrestleMania 42 night two will be CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship.

CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns was made official for WrestleMania courtesy of Roman Reigns' Royal Rumble win. Randy Orton earned a shot at the Undisputed WWE Title at WrestleMania by winning the Elimination Chamber, with Rhodes defeating Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship on the post-Elimination Chamber episode of SmackDown.

WrestleMania 42 will be the 11th time Roman Reigns has been in the main event of WrestleMania. He first headlined WrestleMania at 2015's WrestleMania 31, and the only WrestleManias he has not main evented since then are 2019's WrestleMania 35 and 2020's WrestleMania 36. It will be the second time CM Punk has main evented WrestleMania following his first main event at night one of WrestleMania 41 in a Triple Threat against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.

Cody Rhodes will main event WrestleMania for the fifth time. He has been in the main event every year since 2023's WrestleMania 39. WrestleMania 42 will only be the third time Randy Orton has been in the main event of WrestleMania following WrestleMania 25 and WrestleMania XXX.

WrestleMania 42 will emanate from Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19.
