WWE are likely to scrap plans for their next pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
It was reported over the weekend that WWE had held discussions about the status of all their upcoming Saudi Arabia pay-per-views, including 2027's WrestleMania 43. In an update, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has noted that most within WWE are under the impression that WWE's next pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia is unlikely to happen, although it was noted that nothing has been said officially or decided 100 per cent.
A number of events, including the Formula One Grand Prix in Saudi Arabia, have been cancelled due to the United States/Israel war with Iran. All of WWE's upcoming events in Saudi Arabia are contingent upon the situation in the Middle East changing.
WWE were planning to hold three major events in Saudi Arabia in 2026. One of those events in the Royal Rumble has already taken place, and reports earlier this year noted the next event in the Middle East was scheduled to be Night of Champions on June 27. WWE make at least $55 million per show in Saudi Arabia.
