WWE Speed Titles Officially Retired

The WWE Speed championships have officially been retired.

On the post-Heatwave edition of WWE NXT, Zaria decided to retain the NXT Women's North American Championship and scrap the WWE Speed Women's Title. NXT General Manager Robert Stone then noted that due to Zaria's decision, the WWE Speed Men's Title was also being retired, with Lexis King reluctantly relinquishing the title.

Zaria's decision came after she defeated Wren Sinclar and Kali Armstrong at NXT Heatwave in a title unification match to remain NXT Women's North American Champion and capture the WWE Speed Women's Title.

The WWE Speed championships were created as part of the launch of the WWE Speed series, which aired on X/Twitter from April 2024 until 2025 and was built around three-to-five-minute matches. After the series was cancelled, the WWE Speed titles were transferred to NXT in August 2025.

The full list of WWE Speed Men's Champions includes Ricochet, Andrade, Dragon Lee, El Grande Americano, Jasper Troy, Elio LeFleur, and Lexis King.

Former WWE Speed Women's Champions included Candice LeRae, Sol Ruca, Fallon Henley, and Wren Sinclar. Despite Zaria retiring the belt, she is not officially recognised by WWE as a former champion.
