One week on from his All Elite Wrestling exit, Powerhouse Hobbs is under contract with WWE.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has reported that Hobbs is officially signed to WWE. When exactly Hobbs put pen to paper on his contract and how long his WWE deal is are currently unknown.

Hobbs was expected to land in WWE after he finished up with All Elite Wrestling at the January 14 taping of AEW Collision. Hobbs and his Opps stablemates Samoa Joe and Katsuyori Shibata dropped the AEW World Trios Championships to Hangman Page and JetSpeed ("Speedball" Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight) in a match that aired on January 17.

AEW made him a "huge" offer to stay with the promotion, but Hobbs ultimately decided to jump ship to WWE.

WWE reportedly expected to sign Powerhouse Hobbs for months prior to his AEW deal expiring, and the company had been interested in him for several years stretching back to a tryout before Hobbs joined AEW in 2020.

Hobbs is reportedly expected to be at Royal Rumble weekend, so he may well make his WWE debut in the men's Royal Rumble match. The 34-year-old is expected to have an altered name at the very least whenever he does debut on WWE TV.
