The Saudi Arabia General Entertainment Authority are paying a significant amount to bring WrestleMania 43 to the Middle East, with a new Morgan Stanley research summary "conservatively" estimating that WWE will receive $150 million in site fees for holding their biggest event of 2027 in Riyadh.

It was already known that WWE were receiving "well over $100 million" from Saudi Arabia for WrestleMania 43 but the exact amount was previously unclear.

WWE have held WrestleMania exclusively in North America so far, with WrestleMania 43 set to be the first time the event has not taken place in the United States or Canada. No date has been officially announced for WrestleMania 43 as of yet but the show is tentatively scheduled for April 10 and April 11, 2027, within the company.

There is currently uncertainty around whether WrestleMania 43 will actually take place in Saudi Arabia due to the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen launching airstrikes against Saudi airports, oil and gas facilities, and military bases. This has included Riyadh airport and a strike on October 10 killed 13 people and wounded over 300.

WWE are set to travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for Crown Jewel on November 7, although WWE reportedly have a backup location in the United States due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. WWE employees are also said to have expressed opposition to travelling to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel, something which the company was not thrilled about due to wanting to present a united front.

For their usual shows in Saudi Arabia, like Crown Jewel and Night of Champions, WWE receive around $55 million per event from the KSA GEA, headed by Turki Alalshikh.

The current US travel advisory for Saudi Arabia recommends travel to the region be reconsidered, while US citizens already in KSA have been urged to adopt heightened vigilance.
