What is going on with Joe Hendry? Well TNA President Carlos Silva has sought to clear up any confusion after Hendry was mentioned as being ‘with NXT’ on a recent WWE NXT TV broadcast.
With the recent announcement that Ash by Elegance was vacating the TNA Knockouts World Championship TNA have announced they are keeping the nature of Ash’s condition confidential, whilst Gail Kim has commented on Kenny Omega’s recent comments during an online spat concerning AEW’s Riho, amongst other things.

After numerous high profile appearances in a WWE ring in 2025, many assume it is only a matter of time before Joe Hendry jumps ship to the promotion from TNA, with this matter seemingly confirmed by Bobby Roode on the September 16 edition of WWE NXT when he claimed Hendry was ‘now with NXT’.
Speaking with The Battleground podcast, TNA President Carlos Silva sought to clarify Hendry’s position, stating he was still part of TNA:
“That is correct,” said Silva when asked if Hendry was still part of TNA. “Yeah, it caught me off guard when he [Roode]] said it as well. So yes, he is [still part of TNA] and he is until he’s not. He is. Joe has been great for us, Joe’s been great with WWE and NXT. We’ll continue to work through that together as good partners do.”

Ash by Elegance recently vacated the TNA Knockouts World Championship after not being cleared to compete, with the former WWE star stepping away from TNA for the foreseeable future.
Ash vacated the title at Victory Road after saying she had been hit by a ‘curveball’, and TNA have since stated that Ash’s medical details are being kept private amidst her absence.
Gail Kim has responded to recent comments made by Kenny Omega after Kim had criticised the presentation of Riho in AEW.
Kim’s comments divided opinion online, with Omega alleging that Kim was speaking out against AEW as a way to curry favour with WWE owner’s TKO, with Omega stating Kim was ‘doing the splits’ for the company.
Speaking of the online exchange, Kim said the following on the Huge Pop podcast:
“Even what he said though, was very derogatory. Again, he was probably reading things online and believing the AEW fans who twisted all the messaging, in my opinion, I don’t know. Maybe he did read my original answer. But, to say I do the splits — I didn’t even know what that meant at first. I’m like, ‘What do you mean I do the splits for TKO?’ I’m like, ‘What is he talking about?’” Kim laughed.

Dakota Kai’s WWE release in May 2025 came as a shock to many, and several months since her exit Kai has not wrestled at all.
Kai’s last match came in March on WWE Main Event, and since being released Kai - aka Evie - has been streaming content online whilst taking a break from wrestling. An update from Fightful Select stated that Kai has had new ring gear made, and it ‘shouldn’t be a surprise’ to see Kai wrestling in Japan at some point.
