The pro wrestling rumour mill continues to turn and a new rumour has suggested that WWE are looking to use the leverage of the one-year non-compete to bring back Andrade El Idolo. There is also an update on when Liv Morgan will return from injury, and a rumour killer on AJ Lee's absence from WWE programming.
On the AEW front, there is an update on Chris Jericho's future in pro wrestling.
Pro wrestling rumours for Friday, October 24, 2025:

Andrade El Idolo is currently unable to appear on professional wrestling shows due to a one-year non-compete clause that came into effect when he was fired with cause by WWE, reportedly due to multiple wellness policy violations.
El Idolo made his return to AEW soon after, but Andrade has been blocked from making further appearances for the promotion due to the non-compete clause.
Despite the clause, Andrade is still being advertised for independent wrestling shows in Maine and New York in November, although if he will actually appear is unknown.
PWInsider has reported, however, that there is a belief in some lucha circles that WWE are trying to use the non-compete clause as leverage to bring back Andrade. This has not been confirmed by WWE.

Chris Jericho's bank balance could be set to grow by even more millions next year, with the 54-year-old potentially set to find himself at the centre of a bidding war when his AEW contract expires at the end of 2025.
AEW President Tony Khan has expressed interest in keeping Jericho with All Elite Wrestling, but reports in recent weeks have noted that WWE expect the former Undisputed Champion to return to the company, and plans would see Jericho have a retirement run and receive a WWE Hall of Fame induction.
Fightful Select has since reported that one WWE source indicated Jericho would almost certainly be offered an annual salary of "several million dollars" to return to the company. At this stage, though, the belief is AEW could match that offer.

Liv Morgan has been out of action since suffering a separated shoulder in a freak injury on a June episode of Monday Night Raw only moments after her match with Kairi Sane got underway.
Morgan was expected to be out of action for the remainder of 2025 due to the injury, but the former Women's World Champion may not miss much of 2026. PWInsider has reported that the expectation within WWE is Morgan will hopefully return by the beginning of next year.
It is possible that Morgan returns ahead of schedule and her popularity in Saudi Arabia means WWE will likely want her to be involved in some capacity at the Royal Rumble.
There is already excitement within WWE about Morgan being back in the mix on TV when she is able to return from injury.

AJ Lee has not been back on WWE TV since teaming with husband CM Punk to defeat Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in one of the headline matches at Wrestlepalooza.
There have been questions around where AJ Lee is since the September pay-per-view, and a Facebook post attributed to Lee claimed that she was gone from WWE programming because of a book tour.
This is simply made up, however, and PWInsider has reported that Lee is not currently on a book tour and the Facebook account claiming to be AJ Lee is a fake.
