Tessa Blanchard was written out of having to wrestle on TNA Wrestling's post-Under Siege IMPACT tapings on Saturday night and it has since been confirmed why the former TNA World Champion wasn't in action.

Blanchard went one-on-one with WWE NXT's Arianna Grace at Under Siege in a match which featured multiple botches. Blanchard then didn't wrestle on Saturday night's TV tapings and Blanchard missed her scheduled match against Jody Threat at The Border Brawl on Sunday, introducing Vipress as her replacement.

Fightful Select reported on Sunday that Blanchard suffered a suspected concussion at Under Siege but still finished the match. Blanchard initially denied she wasn't cleared to wrestle but confirmed at The Border Brawl that she couldn't wrestle.

TNA have reached out to Cultaholic and claimed reports of Blanchard suffering a concussion are "untrue." The company announced in an official capacity that Blanchard sustained a Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction at Under Siege and she will return to action imminently. The injury typically limits movement of the jaw.

Tessa Blanchard remains a controversial figure in TNA Wrestling due to allegations of racism and bullying made against her in 2020.
