Update On Samantha Irvin's WWE Non-Compete Clause

Samantha Irvin will soon be able to work in professional wrestling again, should she wish to do so, with her WWE non-compete clause due to expire in October of 2026.

Irvin's two-year non-compete clause was activated when she decided to leave WWE in October 2024. Fightful Select has reported that Irvin has not been paid by WWE during her non-compete period and she would have likely been able to have the clause waived had she fought it legally.

Samantha Irvin announced in 2025 that she had one-year remaining on her WWE non-compete, writing:

"One year down, one year left on my non-compete! Can't wait. I hope you enjoy my songs in the meantime and look back on all the memories as fondly as I do! Love & miss you all and remember - I NEVER left FOR music, I am music. Hope to see you soon….."

Irvin - who produces music as Samantha The Bomb - was a popular ring announcer for WWE from 2021 until October 2024, when she decided to leave the organisation. It was noted in 2025 that Irvin's non-compete period was so long as she signed a new deal in early 2024 to remain with WWE which included the non-compete clause.

Following her WWE departure, Irvin noted that she never liked ring announcing but she wasn't done with pro wrestling entirely. Whether this means she will end up signing with All Elite Wrestling, where her husband Ricochet wrestles, is unknown.
