Update On LA Knight's WWE Status After Being Written Off TV

LA Knight was recently written off of WWE TV following a heinous attack by Bronson Reed on the June 20 edition of SmackDown.

Reed hit Knight with multiple Tsunami splashes on SmackDown, with Michael Cole announcing on Raw that the former United States Champion had suffered ‘separated rib cartilage and a bruised sternum’ at the hands of Reed. Fear not, though, as a report from PWInsider states the injury is 100% a work, and is all part of a storyline.

Reports recently suggested that there is growing support within WWE to have Knight permanently join Raw after his recent guest appearances as part of the SmackDown roster, but there are currently no plans for a permanent change for Knight.

That’s not the only support for Knight, with WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash calling for Knight to have a world title run in the organisation. With Reed part of the biggest heel faction on Raw, it remains to be seen if Knight’s feud ends with ‘Big’ Bronson, or if he’ll tangle with leader and current Money in the Bank briefcase holder Seth Rollins.
