Tony Khan Issues Jay White Injury Update

Jay White has been out of action since all the way back in March of 2025, last wrestling against Kevin Knight in a singles match on Collision before then being pulled from the Owen Hart Tournament due to an injury. It was recently noted that Jay White’s injuries were worse than originally believed, with him now dealing with a shoulder injury following his initial broken hand, and that chances of a return soon were slim. Tony Khan has provided an unsavoury update on the status of The Switchblade. 

When speaking with My Mom’s Basement With Robbie Fox, Khan declared that Jay White will still be out of the ring for quite some time. 

“Jay White is one of the best wrestlers in the world, and got injured along the way. He is out and unfortunately is going to be out for a long time.”

These unfortunate developments came soon after reports emerged that Khan was a huge fan of White and saw him as a star. It seems as though the former AEW World Trios Champion may miss the rest of 2025 following recent updates.
