Talent Debuts New 'Steam Pig' Moniker At WWE NXT Live Event

A good gimmick is worth its weight in gold, and one WWE NXT star will be hoping their new moniker is the ticket to the top, as they are now the brand’s ‘Steam Pig’.

As seen at an NXT Live event in Tampa, Florida on July 19, Ridge Holland came to the ring in all new ring gear, with the gear stating that Ridge is now ‘The Steam Pig’.

No one is quite sure what a steam pig is… aside from being an active NXT superstar, with the logo on Holland’s shorts showing a tusked boar in wrist tape and a headband - attire worn by Holland himself in this new guise.

The Steam Pig picked up a win over Tate Wilder at the event and it remains to be seen if this is the start of a hot streak for Holland, with the former NXT Tag Team Champion having not wrestled on WWE TV since May 2025 - a battle royal appearance on NXT TV. Holland’s last televised singles match came in March 2025, a loss to Ricky Saints.
