As of April 6, Luke Menzies - the former Ridge Holland - has been cleared to return to the squared circle.

Menzies posted a letter from Dr. Norman Waldrop III on X/Twitter which stated that he is able to return to professional wrestling.

The letter noted:

"I am writing regarding my patient, a 37-year-old professional wrestler who underwent a C5-7 cervical disc replacement (CDR) performed by Dr. Qureshi at Hospital for Special Surgery on November 24, 2025.

"He has progressed very well post-operatively, with an excellent clinical recovery. His follow-up imaging demonstrates appropriate positioning and function of the implants without complication. At this time, he has returned to his baseline level of function and physical capacity.

"Given his recovery, he is medically cleared to return to professional wrestling activities as well as contact sports.

"PATIENT IS ABLE TO RETURN TO FULL CONTACT ACTIVITY WITH NO RESTRICTIONS IN REGARDS TO HIS LEFT FOOT."

Luke Menzies has been out of action since September 2025 after suffering a Lisfranc foot injury during a TNA taping, and he announced in November that he would require neck surgery.

Menzies has been a free agent since his WWE release in November 2025. Menzies was informed by WWE in mid-October that the company would not be renewing his contract. The former rugby league player's deal was due to expire on November 14, but Menzies ended up being fired by WWE for breach of contract on November 4 after an X/Twitter rant in which Menzies stated he had been "hung out to dry." Holland revealed to Cultaholic that his Twitter rant was precipitated by receiving a foreclosure notice on his home.

Menzies had been a part of WWE as Ridge Holland since 2018, wrestling across NXT and the main roster.
