A faction split during Tuesday night's taping of Friday Night SmackDown from The O2 in London, England, which will air on Friday, June 26.

Amidst issues within The MFT, Talla Tonga and Tama Tonga told Solo Sikoa they were leaving the stable on SmackDown. Talla and Tama were then involved in a backstage segment with Finn Balor, calling back to Tama Tonga and Prince Devitt's time together in Bullet Club.

The split ultimately leaves Solo Sikoa on his own for the time being, although him rejoining The Bloodline with Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Jacob Fatu has been heavily teased.

The MFT - My Family Tree - was officially formed in the aftermath of Night of Champions 2025 when Solo Sikoa defeated Jacob Fatu for the United States Title following interference from the returning Tonga Loa and debuting Talla Tonga. Before that, the faction had been an alternative version of The Bloodline headed up by Solo Sikoa following 2024's WrestleMania XL that also contained Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and JC Mateo after Jeff Cobb made his WWE debut at Backlash 2025.

The MFT had already dwindled in numbers this year following the releases of JC Mateo and Tonga Loa after WrestleMania 42. The remaining MFTs transitioned to a programme with The Bloodline after Clash in Italy but Solo's issues with Tama and Talla Tonga have continued too, with the tag team asking Sikoa not to interfere in their WWE Tag Team Title match against R-Truth and Damian Priest on June 19. Sikoa made his way to ringside anyway, however, which resulted in R-Truth rolling up Tama Tonga for the successful tile defence.
