Sol Ruca appears to be okay following WWE NXT Revenge, but the former NXT Women's North American Champion had to spend some time with WWE's medical team after the event.

In a compilation of photos posted to Instagram - one of which was a Kenny Omega AEW action figure standing on a Catan board - Sol Ruca revealed that she required eight staples to her head following night two of NXT Revenge.

Sol Ruca suffered the head injury during the closing moments of her Last Woman Standing Match on Tuesday night against former tag team partner Zaria. The match led to Ruca and Zaria brawling on the NXT platform when Zaria almost fell, with Ruca saving her former partner. The two talents then cried and embraced before Zaria's face changed and she pushed Ruca from the platform.

Two tables were set up below the platform, but Ruca only ended up going through one of the tables and the back of her head struck the edge of the second table. Ruca was then counted out as Zaria picked up the win.

It emerged that after NXT Revenge went off the air, Ruca was helped by WWE's medical team and referees, and she was able to make her way backstage on her feet. Ruca threw up her hand sign to the crowd as she walked to the back.

NXT Revenge looks to have been Sol Ruca's final appearance on NXT as she bid farewell to the Tuesday night show on Instagram. Ruca's Last Woman Standing Match also took place after Ruca appeared on the Raw after WrestleMania 42 in a loss to Women's World Champion Liv Morgan.
