Seth Rollins made his return to WWE during the company's South America tour, with WWE holding a house show in Quito, Ecuador, on Wednesday, September 9.
In the main event of the live event, Seth Rollins teamed with Solo Sikoa and LA Knight to defeat The Usos and Jacob Fatu. Rollins picked up the win for his team after countering a Spear attempt from Jey Uso into a Pedigree and following up with a Stomp.
The Ecuador match was Rollins' first WWE appearance in any capacity since he unsuccessfully challenged Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of SummerSlam on August 2. If Rollins working the house shows means a return to WWE TV is imminent, potentially on the September 14 episode of Monday Night Raw from Mexico City, is unknown.
The Quito house show was WWE's first event in Ecuador in 10 years, with William Beltrán of SuperLuchas noting to PWInsider that the show had a "poor turnout." Full results for the show were as follows:
