Mariah May’s All Elite Wrestling deal is expiring later this year, with it believed that May is set to depart the promotion in the hopes of signing with WWE.
Whilst some have suggested that May’s stance was merely a negotiation tactic in order to potentially land a bigger deal with AEW, people within AEW are of the belief that ‘The Glamour’ will depart the company for WWE. Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer suggests that May informed AEW that she was unwilling to sign a new deal ahead of Revolution, with the ‘Hollywood Ending’ bout between May and longtime rival Toni Storm believed to have been made for the pay-per-view in order to blow the feud off, with May not likely to return.
Since losing to Storm at Revolution, May has not been seen nor mentioned on AEW TV. May is believed to have several months remaining on her current deal, having signed her initial two-year deal in August 2023. It has been suggested that May’s deal could potentially run until late 2025, if not longer.
Whilst reports seem to suggest that May is set to depart AEW, nothing has been officially confirmed as of writing.
