Report: Possible New AEW Signing Revealed

All Elite Wrestling could be set to sign one of the hottest free agents on the market.

According to Fightful Select, the belief within AEW is that Thekla - formerly of STARDOM - is headed to the promotion. If Thekla has put pen to paper on a contract with All Elite Wrestling as of the time of writing is unknown.

Thekla finished up with STARDOM at All-Star Grand Queendom, losing to Sayaka Kurara. Thekla attacked STARDOM President Taro Okada after the match which led to her firing, with Thekla announcing in a post-show press conference that she was done performing in Japan for the time being.

Fightful noted that Thekla attracted interest from WWE over a year ago around the time the company brought in Giulia. Thekla was also subject to heavy interest from AEW around the end of 2024, while she also drew interest from independent wrestling promotions.

Thekla became a regular in STARDOM in 2021. She is a former Goddesses of STARDOM Champion and Artist of STARDOM Champion.
