Report: Fatal Influence's Fatal Flaw WWE Finisher Receiving Criticism Within Pro Wrestling

Fatal Influence's Fatal Flaw finishing manoeuvre has received criticism within professional wrestling, with Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio reporting that he has heard people in the industry express that they don't believe it is a good finisher.

"And I have heard people saying within wrestling that this is not a good finish anyway, so we'll see if they end up getting a new finish. But it was one of those finishes where it looked like nothing went wrong, but somebody got badly injured," Alvarez stated.

The discussion was prompted by Chelsea Green suffering a broken orbital bone on Friday Night SmackDown, with Alvarez noting the Interim WWE Women's Champion sustained the injury after Lainey Reid landed on Green's head during the Fatal Flaw. This was the finish of the match, with Fallon Henley pinning Green to win the tag team contest against Green and Tiffany Stratton.

It is unknown if Chelsea Green will have to vacate the Interim WWE Women's Championship, a title that was only created because of WWE Women's Champion Rhea Ripley suffering a torn meniscus in June. Wrestlers have often continued to perform following a broken orbital bone by wearing a face mask, most notably The Undertaker in 1995.

Fatal Influence have been on the WWE main roster since the SmackDown after WrestleMania 42. Their strong crowd reactions has resulted in the stable being featured prominently across WWE programming.
