TNA President Carlos Silva has vowed to develop stars in the promotion, as some question whether TNA has merely become a feeder system for WWE.

Ridge Holland has provided an update on his condition following surgery, whilst AEW’s Brian Cage wants to keep eventual return a mystery.

Here’s all the pro-wrestling reports and rumours for October 6 2025:

TNA President Carlos SIlva has vowed to develop stars in the company and deliver for the fans.

Whilst there are many positives to TNA’s relationship with WWE, some see it as one-sided and beneficial mainly to WWE. However, during a conversation with Undisputed’s Justin Barrasso, Carlos Silva put over TNA as a destination rather than a feeder system:

“We have a lot of goals. We can develop young stars. Joe Hendry is a great example. I know he wrestled elsewhere, but TNA provided a platform for him to reach new levels–then you saw him at WrestleMania. TNA is a place for young stars like Leon Slater. It’s a place for legends like The Hardys and stars like Eric Young, Nic Nemeth, Matt Cardona, and Frankie Kazarian–and I could go on and on.”

Ridge Holland has provided an update after recently undergoing surgery for a foot injury.

The WWE star suffered the injury whilst working a TNA event, and shared the following on social media:

“For the past seven years, it’s been a bit of a bumpy ride with the wrestling business. Just as I start to get rolling, something happens - same again this time. With TNA, a couple of good matches and then this happens. But again, we heal, we recover, we march forward, and I’m looking forward to coming back and getting in the best shape of my life.”

Brian Cage’s AEW run has seen the former ROH Trios Champion pick up his fair share of injuries.

Currently out of action after suffering a knee injury in early 2025, Cage had surgeries on both knees throughout the course of the year. After earlier noting how he wants his eventual return to be a surprise, cage doubled down on this during a conversation with the All F’n Wrestling Show:

“I have no idea about any sort of creative plans for our return at all at this point. So, I mean, I guess anything could be possible… There’s a whole wide open of versatility of what could happen, because there’s nothing set in stone at all for when I’m coming back or what I’m going to do when I come back.

“I’m not telling anybody that I don’t want anybody to have an inkling. I want everybody to have no idea of, ‘Oh, maybe around this time,’ because it might be next week, next year, or I don’t know. Who knows?”
