The longer time presses on, the more the belief that Killer Kross (formerly Karrion Kross) is still secretly signed with WWE or is in store to make a shock return becomes less and less likely. Not only did he team with AEW wrestler Darby Allin at a DEFY show last night as part of Steve Borden’s first ever match (the son of Sting), a return has also been announced for MLW.

During last night’s Slaughterhouse event, MLW aired a hype package which revealed the return of Killer Kross. He’ll be making his comeback at next month’s event on November 20 in Charleston, South Carolina, in what will be a collaboration with Don Gat Tequila which will be entitled Lucha de los Muertos. The video package used the music video that Kross uploaded after his WWE release, and ended with the words “Killer Kross fights in MLW”, suggesting that he will be wrestling on November 20.

Kross revealed in an interview following his WWE exit that he’d actually rejected a WWE contract offer before parting ways with the company. In the time since his release, Kross has been competing around the professional wrestling world, with no word or indication that WWE are set to bring him back, despite theories of a work.
