Penta 50/50 On Being Back For Lucha Bros Reunion

The Lucha Bros are still officially scheduled to reunite later this month, with Penta and Rey Fenix booked to team together for the first time since July 2024 at AAA Guerra de Titanes on December 20 against Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano.

The match is currently up in the air, however, after Penta sustained a dislocated shoulder on the November 24 episode of Monday Night Raw during his Last Time is Now tournament match with Solo Sikoa. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the word within WWE is that Penta is 50/50 on whether he will be able to wrestle at AAA Guerra de Titanes.

Penta suffered the dislocated shoulder following a hurricanrana to the floor, which caused the match to be called off after four minutes. WWE's plans weren't changed too much as Sikoa was always scheduled to win.

Penta has been a part of WWE since late 2024 and made his debut on the January 13, 2025 episode of Raw. Penta has not performed for AAA since 2023, with WWE purchasing the Lucha Libre promotion earlier this year.
