IYO SKY lost the Women's World Championship in the main event of WWE Evolution, but she didn't drop the belt to her opponent in Rhea Ripley.

With both talents down following a Spanish Fly from the top turnbuckle, Naomi, who had lost a No Holds Barred Match to Jade Cargill earlier in the night, made her way to the ring with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Naomi proceeded to cash-in, making the match a Triple Threat in the process, and she decked Ripley and SKY with the briefcase. One Split-Legged Moonsault to IYO SKY later and Naomi pinned the Women's World Champion to win the title.

Naomi won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match on June 7 and her cash-in at Evolution made the 37-year-old a three-time women's champion in WWE. Naomi previously held the SmackDown Women's Title on two occasions in 2017, and she is also a two-time Women's Tag Team Champion, having held the belts with Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair. Naomi is also a former TNA Knockouts World Champion.

Naomi's cash-in ended IYO SKY's reign as Women's World Champion at 133 days. SKY only defended the belt on three occasions and her match at Evolution was her first defence since WrestleMania 41 back in April.
