Minor Change Made To WWE Raw Due To Polar Vortex

Much of North America has been affected by the polar vortex in recent days, with the continent experiencing heavy snowfall and plummeting temperatures.

The weather has also affected tonight's episode of Raw, which will see a ring announcer change. Alicia Taylor announced on Instagram Stories that she was unable to travel to Toronto, Ontario, Canada for Raw due to cancelled flights. Lilian Garcia, who was the ring announcer at Saturday Night's Main Event in Montreal, will replace Taylor on Monday night.

Already announced for tonight's Raw is the return of Bron Breakker from suspension, promos from AJ Styles and Gunther, and a four-way number one contender's match for the World Tag Team Titles pitting The New Day against Alpha Academy, American Made, and Los Americanos.

WWE produced several backup plans to ensure talent made it to Toronto for Raw. This included, according to PWInsider, WWE renting vans for staff and wrestlers to drive to Toronto from Montreal following Saturday Night's Main Event, with many setting off as soon as they were cleared to leave SNME. Talents not at SNME but who were needed for Raw had their travel re-booked for Saturday to try and get ahead of the weather.
